Exercise Right for Active Ageing Grant
We are a registered provider for the Exercise Right for Active Ageing project!
What does this mean?
The Australian Government have given grant funding to Sport Australia to improve access for older individuals to sport and physical activity opportunities. The physical activity programs are being delivered by Exercise Physiologists around the country.
What does it involve?
The Exercise Right for Active Ageing program involves once weekly group exercise sessions for 12 weeks. An assessment is conducted prior to commencing classes which involves screening and testing of health, strength and mobility. This assessment is then conducted again at the end of the 12 weeks to be included in research.
